abstract: Partendo da una sintesi dei rapporti tra Occidente e Oriente nella moda e dalla storia della manifattura della seta nell'area comasca, l'articolo affronta il problema di una definizione non più stereotipica del Made in Italy, e di contro della falsificazione e della copia, in particolare nella relazione tra Italia e Cina.
